I published a story with The Citizen on the call for poker machine reform across local government councils in Victoria. This story was highly commended in the best text based story for a postgraduate student at The Ossie Awards.

During my internship at The Guardian Australia I assisted in the production of the limited series podcast 'Weight of the World'. The podcast interviewed three prominent climate change scientist who had advised multiple governments on the impending impacts of climate change. The podcast was nominated for best podcast at the Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards.

I undertook a two week internship at The Conversation where I pitched multiple stories to academics and then helped them edit and publish their pieces. This is a piece I worked on about the philosophy and reasoning behind the translocation of animals, particularly the Eastern Barred Bandicoot.

My piece on the University of Melbourne strikes was highly commended by my tutors and was used by the National Tertiary Education Union to show how effective their strike action was.

I worked on multiple episodes of the Full Story podcast whilst I interned at The Guardian. Primarily my role was scripting, finding archived audio and editing for these episodes.

I worked alongside the Bendigo Advertiser on a story about the potential upcoming El Nino fire season and how the CFA was preparing for increased amounts of vegetation and fuel that could cause larger fires across the region. The piece was jointly published by the Bendigo Advertiser and The Citizen.

A piece I filmed about potential new discoveries around Endometriosis treatment. I interviewed a sufferer of endometriosis and obstetrician Dr Marilla Druitt about the potential new research and found that often quick fixes aren't what you would expect.

I wrote a piece for the newly formed Prom Coast News about Threatened Species Action Day. I travelled out to a property in Gippsland to observe the endangered Slender Tree-Ferns and talk to activists about the importance of this rare species and keeping biodiversity alive in the area.
